Bartholomew Named to 2009 USA Basketball Team

365 Sports, Inc. recently named Cadet Freshman William T. Bartholomew, Jr. of Hargrave Military Academy to the 2009 USA Basketball Team. William will represent the United States at the 2009 Wilson Swiss All-Star Tournament, which will be held in Switzerland. This decision to accept him was based on his exceptional play and dedication to basketball.
Smith Named All-Conference

Varsity Basketball player and junior Danny Smith was recently selected for an honorable mention for the All-Conference Division of the Virginia Independent Conference (VIC). Smith averaged 10 points, 5 rebounds, and 5 assists for the season. Smith is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Smith, Jr. and is from Goldsboro, North Carolina.
Hargrave’s Giannini Named to Baseball All-Region Team

Hargrave Military Academy Senior Cameron Giannini was recently named to the Rawlings® All-Region Team for 2009. Rawlings Preseason All-American and All-Region Teams recognize the top 400 high school baseball athletes in the U.S.

The JV Baseball traveled to Lynchburg to play E C Glass. It was an exceptionally cold with a few snow flurries throughout the game.
Hargrave Sends Five Swimmers to the Junior National Championship

Five members of Hargrave Military Academy’s swim team participated at the USA Junior National Championship in Orlando, Florida on March 17-21. Over 1700 of the best swimmers 18 or younger from across the country participated at the meet.
