The JV Tigers returned to the win column last night with a victory over the Holy Cross Gaels. After a closely contested first quarter, the Tigers outscored the Gaels 24-4 in the second to take a half-time lead of 29-10. Defensive pressure was key in assuming the lead. In a second half that saw the Tigers play 13 different players, the Tigers withstood a run made by the Gaels and were able to finish the game strong. Grant Chandler led all scorers with 18, followed by Paul Elliott with 10.
